About

Dried and ground nutmeg fruit, a warming spice with antiseptic properties traditionally used to stimulate circulation.

Myristica fragrans (nutmeg) fruit powder contains myristicin, elemicin, and safrole, all classified as fragrance allergens under EU Regulation 1223/2009. Myristicin is listed in Annex III of the cosmetics regulation as a restriction applies — products containing nutmeg powder as a fragrance must declare the constituent allergens.
