This captures the volatile fractions including floral scent compounds, leaf essential oil components, and seed oil volatiles in a single aqueous ingredient. Under EU Regulation 1223/2009, botanical waters are permitted without restriction. The ingredient is essentially equivalent to traditional floral waters used in European cosmetic traditions.
