About
Mimosa flower wax — a plant-based wax that adds gentle emolliency and structure. Well tolerated and a clean-beauty favourite.
Acacia dealbata (silver wattle / mimosa) flower cera is a solid wax obtained from mimosa flowers, composed mainly of long-chain fatty acids, esters and hydrocarbons. In cosmetics it functions as an emollient, skin-conditioning agent and film-former, often used in lip balms, sticks and balm-textured creams as a plant-based alternative to beeswax. Listed in EU CosIng; no SCCS restrictions. Safety data is based on compositional similarity to other floral waxes plus use history; dedicated clinical studies are limited. Reports of allergy are rare and mostly relate to airborne Acacia pollen, not the purified wax.

- Plant-based emollient structure
