About
Argan fruit unsaponifiables — the concentrated sterol and tocopherol fraction from argan oil. Strong antioxidant and skin-conditioning profile.
Argania spinosa fruit unsaponifiables are the non-saponifiable lipids (phytosterols including schottenol and spinasterol, tocopherols, and squalene) isolated from argan oil by saponification of the triglyceride fraction. The concentrate is prized for antioxidant and skin-barrier-supporting activity, with a substantial cosmetic literature base on argan oil constituents. The underlying oil is food-grade in Morocco. EU CosIng lists the ingredient without restriction and no GHS hazard class is assigned. Though not a tree nut in the botanical sense, rare sensitization has been reported in atopic users.
