About

A deep-purple berry juice from Chile (maqui berry) with exceptionally high anthocyanin content, widely used in natural cosmetics for its free-radical-scavenging and anti-aging effects. No safety concerns in topical use.

Aristotelia chilensis (maqui) fruit juice is rich in delphinidin and cyanidin anthocyanins. The fruit has a long history of traditional consumption and topical use in South America. No entries in EU Cosmetics Regulation Annexes II–VI; considered safe for cosmetic use. EU CosIng lists the species with no restrictions.
