About

A notorious group of naturally occurring minerals with proven carcinogenicity that is absolutely banned in the EU.

Asbestos encompasses several naturally occurring silicate mineral fibres including chrysotile (white asbestos), amosite, and crocidolite, all of which are classified as Category 1 carcinogens (H350) under EU CLP regulation. Asbestos is listed in EU REACH Annex XVII as a prohibited substance and is explicitly banned from cosmetic products under Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. There is no safe level of cosmetic exposure.
