About
Nano-sized vesicles harvested from oat kernels — packed with ceramides, lipids and beta-glucans to nourish and soothe reactive skin.
Avena sativa (common oat) kernel vesicles are naturally occurring lipid vesicles rich in polar lipids, oat beta-glucan and avenanthramides. They mimic skin's own lipid bilayers, facilitating integration into the stratum corneum. Oats have an extensive safety record; the EWG rates oat extracts as low concern. Vesicles improve delivery of oat actives compared to crude extracts.
