About
A polyethylene glycol ether emulsifier derived from synthetic C12-13 alcohols, used as a mild surfactant and emulsifier with no EU restrictions.
C12-13 ALKETH-4 is a non-ionic surfactant produced by ethoxylation of synthetic C12-13 branched and straight-chain alcohols with an average of 4 moles ethylene oxide. The ethoxylation number (4) provides a balanced hydrophilic-lipophilic profile suitable for O/W emulsification. It is not subject to restriction under EU Regulation 1223/2009 and is considered safe for cosmetic use. The name change from C12-13 PARETH to C12-13 ALKETH reflects INCI nomenclature updates.
