About
A hydrogenated tallow ester with polyethylene glycol that functions as an emollient and emulsifier, with hydrogenation reducing the sensitisation potential of the fatty acid component.
C12-15 Pareth-9 Hydrogenated Tallowate is an ester of hydrogenated tallow fatty acids with polyethylene glycol mono-C12-15-alkyl ethers (9 mol EO). The hydrogenation process saturates the fatty acids, significantly reducing oxidisation and sensitisation concerns compared to unsaturated tallow derivatives. It is not restricted under EU cosmetics law and is used in skin conditioning and cleansing formulations.
