About
Cannabinol is a cosmetic ingredient. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Cannabinol (CBN) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and a degradation product of THC. EU Annex II/306 of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 prohibits its use if prepared from a substance controlled in Schedule I of the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs. It carries H361d (suspected of damaging the unborn child), H413 (may cause long-lasting harmful effects to aquatic life), and other hazard statements. National controlled substance legislation may also apply, complicating EU market access.
