Chloromethane (methyl chloride, CAS 74-87-3) carries a severe list of hazard statements including H220 (extremely flammable gas), H351 (suspected carcinogen), H360 (may damage fertility or the unborn child), H341 (suspected genetic defects), H372/H373 (causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure), and H332 (harmful if inhaled).
