CI 77745 is a manganese-based inorganic colourant (manganese pigments) listed in EU Annex IV ( authorised colorants) with the restriction IV/141, limiting its allowed uses. Manganese salts can be skin sensitizers and certain manganese compounds are of environmental concern (H410 Aquatic toxicity). The restriction limits concentration and/or approved application types in cosmetics.
