About
A lightweight, nutrient-dense oil from watermelon seeds — rich in linoleic acid and magnesium that moisturize without clogging pores, ideal for oily and combination skin.
Citrullus lanatus seed contains a fixed oil with an exceptionally high linoleic acid content (typically 50-65%), along with oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and significant magnesium content. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid critical for maintaining skin barrier integrity and regulating sebum production — skin with deficiency in linoleic acid produces abnormal, thicker sebum that can contribute to clogged pores and acne. Watermelon seed oil is considered non-comedogenic, absorbs well, and has a dryskin feel. It also contains antioxidant compounds including vitamin E and carotenoids.
