Citrus Limon Flower Water is the aqueous solution from steam distillation of lemon (Citrus limon) flowers. EU Annex III entry II/358 applies to all Citrus limon preparations due to furanocoumarin content in various parts of the plant. While flowers contain lower furanocoumarin levels than peel or juice, the EU restriction applies to the species as a whole. The hydrosol is used as a fragrance and skin-conditioning ingredient in cosmetic formulations.
