Citrus Sinensis Flower Water is the aqueous solution from steam distillation of sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) flowers, also producing orange flower absolute as a co-product. Sweet orange flowers are not a significant source of furanocoumarins. No EU cosmetic restrictions apply. The hydrosol contains linalool, phenylacetaldehyde, and related floral volatiles and is used as a skin-conditioning ingredient and fragrance in cosmetic formulations.
