About

A gentle, zwitterionic surfactant (a mix of positive and negative charges) that creates stable foam and works well in hard water.

Coco-hydroxysultaine is an amphoteric (specifically zwitterionic) surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids. It has excellent compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants, making it extremely versatile. It performs well in hard water and has good skin compatibility. EU Cosmetics Regulation does not restrict this ingredient, and it is considered safe for use in rinse-off cosmetic formulations.
