About
Phospholipid mixture extracted from Cyberlindnera yeast — a vegan, biotech alternative to soy lecithin. Supports skin-barrier lipids.
Cyberlindnera phospholipids are the membrane-phospholipid fraction isolated from Cyberlindnera (a yeast genus including C. jadinii, formerly Candida utilis). They contain phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine and related phospholipids and function as barrier-support emollients and emulsifiers. The ingredient offers a vegan, allergen-friendly alternative to soy lecithin. No dedicated CIR or SCCS review, but the broader phospholipid category has long-standing cosmetic use and favourable safety assessment. Yeast allergy applies to a small population.
