About
Euglena Gracilis Lipids is derived from Euglena gracilis (microalga).
Euglena Gracilis Lipids are derived from the microalga Euglena gracilis, a single-celled organism producing unique lipids including omega-3 fatty acids (DHA, EPA) and paramylon (beta-1,3-glucan). The lipid fraction is valued for its fatty acid profile and bioactive compounds. Not specifically restricted in EU Regulation 1223/2009 Annex II or III. Cultured Euglena is a sustainable and consistent source of these lipids without the ethical concerns of fish-derived omega-3s. The combination of beta-glucan and polyunsaturated fatty acids provides both antioxidant protection and skin-barrier support.
