About
A phosphoinositol-arginine conjugate positioned as a skin-conditioning active. Limited public safety data — scored conservatively.
Glycerophosphoinositol arginine is a conjugate of glycerophosphoinositol (a phosphatidylinositol metabolite / cell-membrane breakdown product) with the amino acid arginine. Glycerophosphoinositol itself has been studied as an endogenous anti-inflammatory mediator in immune-cell biology. In cosmetics this INCI is used as a skin-conditioning agent. EU CosIng lists it for skin-conditioning function; no Annex II/III restrictions and no formal CIR/SCCS review. Cosmetic safety dossier is limited, so scoring defaults to mid-yellow.
