About
Glycyrrhetinic Glucuronide is a cosmetic ingredient. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Glycyrrhetinic glucuronide is a metabolite of glycyrrhizic acid, the principal sweet compound in licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Upon metabolism, glycyrrhizic acid produces glycyrrhetinic acid and its glucuronide conjugate. These compounds are known for their potent anti-inflammatory properties and ability to soothe irritated skin. Licorice derivatives are extensively used in Asian skincare. No EU Annex restrictions apply to this metabolite class.
