About

Hydrolyzed nacre — the iridescent inner shell layer broken down into bioactive amino acids, minerals, and proteins for luminous skin.

Derived from the hydrolysis of mother of pearl (nacre), the inner iridescent layer of mollusk shells. Contains conchiolin protein fragments, calcium carbonate, amino acids, and trace minerals. Traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for skin brightening. The hydrolysis makes the components more bioavailable. Provides antioxidant, humectant, and brightening effects.
