About
Hydrolyzed pea is a plant protein that can help condition and smooth the skin while delivering amino acids.
Hydrolyzed pea protein is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of Pisum sativum (pea) seed proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids. Pea proteins are not listed on any EU Annex restrictions and have a history of safe use in cosmetics. The hydrolysis process reduces allergenicity compared to whole pea. Commonly used as a hair and skin conditioning agent.
