About
A sugar-based conditioning ingredient that helps hold water and is usually gentle on skin.
Inositol Oligosaccharides is the product obtained by the reaction of Inositol and Cyclodextrin catalyzed by cyclodextrin glucanotransferase. Inositol- and oligosaccharide-based materials are usually used for hydration support, softening and skin-conditioning support, skin-conditioning support, and barrier-support and generally sit in the bland, low-toxicity end of cosmetic chemistry.
