A lauroyl-modified tetrapeptide that benefits from enhanced skin penetration, combining collagen-stimulating activity with improved cellular uptake.

Lauroyl sh-Tetrapeptide-1 is a fatty-acyl modified version of sh-Tetrapeptide-1, where the lauroyl (dodecanoyl) group improves lipid solubility and skin penetration. The underlying sh-Tetrapeptide-1 is a recognised collagen-stimulating peptide. There are no EU Annex II or III restrictions on this substance class, and the lauroyl modification is considered non-reactive under normal cosmetic conditions.
