About
Lazurite is a cosmetic ingredient. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Lazurite is the mineral component of lapis lazuli and has been used for centuries as a blue pigment in decorative cosmetics and artistic formulations. While not specifically restricted under EU Regulation 1223/2009, lazurite-based pigments are subject to general safety requirements and must not contain harmful levels of heavy metals. Natural lazurite may contain trace amounts of lazurite (sodium sulfide) and is primarily used in decorative cosmetic applications such as eye shadows and face paints.
