About
Vitamin B3 and salicylic acid combo that brightens and gently exfoliates skin.
Niacinamide salicylate is the salt formed between niacinamide (vitamin B3) and salicylic acid, combining the skin-barrier enhancing and brightening properties of niacinamide with the mild keratolytic action of salicylate. The salt formation reduces the direct irritation potential of free salicylic acid while retaining benefits. Niacinamide is not restricted under EU cosmetic regulations; salicylic acid is restricted in Annex III (III/69) for use in cosmetic products with specific concentration limits depending on product type. Evaluated as safe in the salt form with reduced free acid availability.
