About
A very highly ethoxylated oleyl alcohol ether used as a water-soluble surfactant and solubilizer in cosmetic products, offering minimal skin absorption and a low irritation profile due to its large molecular size.
Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), α-9-(Z)-octadecenyl-ω-hydroxy with an average of 50 mol EO. Functions primarily as a solubilizer and emulsifier in water-rich cosmetic formulations. No EU restrictions apply; not listed in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 Annex II or III. The 50 mol EO chain creates a high molecular weight polymer that is poorly absorbed through the skin.
Skin benefits
- High-performance solubilizer for water-based products
- Very low irritation and sensitization potential
