About
Passion fruit extract, high in vitamins A and C and essential fatty acids that replenish and soften the skin.
Passiflora edulis (passion fruit, maracuja) fruit contains proteolytic enzymes similar to papain from papaya, vitamin C, vitamin A (from carotenoids), and omega fatty acids. The fruit is not restricted under EU cosmetics regulation. Passion fruit extract is used in exfoliating and brightening cosmetic formulations. The seeds are also a source of edible oil rich in linoleic acid.
