A high-molecular-weight polyethylene glycol polymer with generally low skin penetration and a fairly established cosmetic profile.
PEG-1M is a large polyethylene glycol polymer used for thickening, binding, or stability. High-molecular-weight PEGs are usually low concern on intact skin because they penetrate poorly, though good manufacturing control is still needed to minimize residual ethylene oxide or 1,4-dioxane impurities from production. That keeps the score good but not perfect.
