About
A stable vitamin C derivative that provides antioxidant protection and skin brightening without the instability of pure ascorbic acid.
Pentyl 3-Glyceryl Ascorbate is a multi-functional vitamin C derivative combining ascorbic acid (vitamin C) with glycerin and pentyl (amyl) alcohol through a glyceryl bridge. This structure provides significantly better stability than free ascorbic acid while retaining the bioactive properties. It is not restricted in EU cosmetics regulation. The glycerin component also provides moisturising benefits.
