About
Whole perilla (shiso) seeds used as a natural exfoliant — gentle abrasive from a plant rich in beneficial fatty acids.
Perilla Frutescens Seed is the whole seed of the shiso plant (Labiatae/Lamiaceae), used as a physical abrasive/exfoliant in scrub formulations. Perilla seeds are rich in alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) and rosmarinic acid. As a natural particulate, it provides mechanical exfoliation. No GHS hazards, no EU restrictions. Preferred over microplastics as a biodegradable exfoliant alternative.
