Phenazocine is a synthetic opioid of the benzomorphan series with powerful analgesic properties (approximately 3-4× more potent than morphine). It has no legitimate use in cosmetics and is not listed in any EU Cosmetics Regulation annexes for permitted ingredients. Its presence in any cosmetic product would constitute a serious regulatory violation under EU Regulation 1223/2009.
