Phytosphingosine Acetamide is a synthetic amide derivative of phytosphingosine, a naturally occurring sphingolipid found in human skin. It maintains the skin's barrier function, has anti-inflammatory and mild antimicrobial properties, and is well tolerated on all skin types including sensitive skin. It is not restricted under EU Cosmetics Regulation and has an excellent safety profile.
