POLYURETHANE-82

Derived from EU CosIng regulatory status, PubChem hazard data and published research. How we score.
A film-forming polyurethane that helps products stay put, with low penetration but limited skin benefit.
Polyurethane-82 is a large polymer used to create durable films and improve wear. Because it is polymeric, dermal absorption is expected to be low, but manufacturing quality matters since residual acrylates or isocyanate-related reactants are the part you do not want lingering. It is more of a performance additive than a skincare active.
