About
An ethoxylated and propoxylated surfactant based on decyl and lauryl alcohols, used as a co-surfactant and emulsifier with low irritation potential.
PPG-6-DECETH-4 is derived from the propoxylation and ethoxylation of C10-12 fatty alcohols, producing a non-ionic surfactant with both hydrophilic and lipophilic character. The EO:PO ratio and chain length make it suitable as a co-surfactant in mild cleansers and as an emulsifier for cosmetic emulsions. It carries no EU restrictions and is considered safe in rinse-off and leave-on products at typical use levels.
