About

An ethoxylated and propoxylated decyl alcohol surfactant used in a wide range of cosmetic and personal care formulations.

PPG-8-Deceth-6 is a nonionic surfactant based on decyl alcohol with 8 mol ethoxylation and 6 mol propoxylation. It is not restricted under EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 and is widely used in rinse-off and leave-on cosmetic products. Its safety profile is well established with good skin tolerability at typical use concentrations.
