Propyltrimonium Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is the reaction product of hydrolyzed soy protein with propyltrimonium chloride. Soy proteins are rich in amino acids and provide moisturising and film-forming benefits when applied to the skin. The quaternary modification enhances substantivity. It is not restricted in EU cosmetics and is considered safe; the ingredient is derived from non-genetically modified soybeans where possible.
