Prunus amygdalus dulcis fruit water is the steam distillate from sweet almond fruit, a variety of Prunus amygdalus that does not produce bitter almonds. The ingredient contains water-soluble fruit constituents including organic acids, sugar derivatives, and minor phenolic compounds. Sweet almond and its derivatives are listed in EU CosIng without restriction under Regulation 1223/2009. This is one of the most well-established and safest botanical ingredients in cosmetics.
