About
A plant cell culture ingredient from Rhodiola sachalinensis with adaptogenic properties; callus culture production ensures consistent bioactive compound levels without environmental variation.
Rhodiola Sachalinensis (also known as Rhodiola sachalinensis or Arctic root) is an adaptogenic plant used in traditional medicine. The callus culture form is grown in controlled conditions, producing a standardised ingredient rich in bioactive compounds such as salidroside and rosavin. Not restricted in EU Regulation 1223/2009 Annex II or III. The cultured production method avoids seasonal variation and environmental contaminants. Rhodiola species are well-studied for stress-protective and antioxidant effects. Used in anti-aging and protective skincare formulations.
