About
A mild physical exfoliant made from dried rye bread, similar to wheat bread powder but with a slightly different carbohydrate and ferulic acid profile from rye grain. Helps slough off dead skin cells while delivering conditioning compounds.
Rye Bread Powder is produced by drying and finely grinding rye bread. Rye grain contains ferulic acid, arabinoxylan polysaccharides, and phenolic compounds including alkylresorcinols. These provide antioxidant and prebiotic (skin microbiome-supporting) effects. Rye-based particles tend to be slightly more irregular than wheat, which can affect exfoliation feel. Like wheat bread powder, it contains gluten-forming proteins and should be avoided on broken skin for gluten-sensitive individuals. Overall safety profile is very similar to wheat bread powder.
