Salidroside is a cosmetic ingredient. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Salidroside is a phenylpropanoid glycoside from Rhodiola rosea, one of the most extensively studied adaptogenic herbs. It carries only H319 (eye irritation) as a hazard classification. Published research extensively documents its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and stress-protective effects. The SCCS has not flagged salidroside in any restriction annexes, and it is considered safe at cosmetic use levels.
