About
Schisandra berry seed oil — a traditional East Asian adaptogen rich in antioxidant lignans and fatty acids.
Schisandra chinensis seed oil is pressed from the seeds of the Chinese magnolia-vine fruit. It contains polyunsaturated fatty acids alongside characteristic schisandrin/schisandrol lignans, which have documented antioxidant and hepatoprotective activity in oral use. Cosmetic-specific data is limited (low evidence), so class-level safety (benign plant seed oil with minor bioactive fraction) is applied. No Annex II/III listing, no GHS hazard. Traditional adaptogen heritage supports a favourable profile.
