About
A recombinant human TIMP-1 metalloproteinase inhibitor protein produced in E. coli for emollient and skin protection.
A single-chain synthetic human peptide corresponding to Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 1, produced via E. coli fermentation. Contains up to 207 amino acids with possible disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. TIMP-1 is a endogenous protein that regulates matrix metalloproteinases; topical cosmetic use is generally well-tolerated under EU regulation EC 1223/2009.
