About
A mixture of mono-, di-, and triglycerides sourced from animal tallow — acts as a rich, skin-identical emollient that closely mimics the skin's own lipids.
Tallow glycerides are derived from rendered animal fat (typically beef or mutton tallow) and consist of a mixture of mono-, di-, and tri-glycerides. The fatty acid composition is predominantly C16 and C18 saturated and monounsaturated acids — stearic, palmitic, and oleic acid. Glycerides are naturally occurring components of skin sebum, making tallow glycerides highly biocompatible and an excellent emollient for skin-conditioning formulations. CosIng listed with no restrictions.
