About

A TEA-neutralised ethoxylated alkyl sulfate surfactant for rinse-off cleansers. Effective foamer but TEA is a known nitrosamine-precursor under poor formulation, so industry is steadily phasing it out.

Function

SURFACTANT - EMULSIFYING

Skin benefits

  • Effective cleansing and foam
  • Solubilizes oils in rinse-off systems
  • Compatible with mild surfactant blends

Known concerns

  • Mild eye/skin irritation potential at high %
