About
TITANIUM ETHOXIDE is a cosmetic ingredient used in product formulation. Exercise caution due to limited available safety data.
Titanium Ethoxide (Ti(OEt)4) is a titanium alkoxide used primarily as a precursor in sol-gel processes for producing titanium dioxide thin films and nanoparticles. It reacts violently with water and skin moisture to produce ethanol and hydrous titanium oxide species that can cause severe irritation. Cosmetic use of titanium alkoxides is not established.
