About
A vitamin E ethoxylate with 12 moles of ethylene oxide per tocopherol molecule, providing water dispersibility while retaining antioxidant activity.
Tocophereth-12 is an ethoxylated vitamin E derivative (approximately 12 mol EO) functioning as an antioxidant and skin-conditioning agent in cosmetic products. The higher EO content improves water solubility compared to lower ethoxylated variants while vitamin E provides well-established antioxidant benefits. This ingredient is not listed in EU Annexes II or III and is considered safe in cosmetic formulations based on the extensive safety data available for vitamin E and its derivatives.
