About WHEAT AMINO ACIDS
Amino acids extracted from wheat — they mimic your skin's natural moisturizing factors, boosting hydration and conditioning both skin and hair.
Detailed Analysis
Wheat Amino Acids are derived from hydrolyzed wheat protein, consisting of individual amino acids and short peptides. The CIR Expert Panel concluded hydrolyzed wheat protein ingredients are safe when peptides are restricted to ≤3500 Daltons molecular weight, well below the threshold associated with Type I hypersensitivity. They function as hair conditioning, skin conditioning, skin protecting, and soothing agents. Being similar to the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), they readily integrate into the stratum corneum.
