About
A steam distillate water from broccoli plants — naturally rich in sulforaphane and other isothiocyanates that activate the skin's Nrf2 antioxidant defense pathway.
Brassica oleracea italica (broccoli) seed and whole-plant distillate contains sulforaphane, a potent isothiocyanate produced when glucoraphanin is broken by myrosinase. Sulforaphane upregulates Nrf2-mediated antioxidant enzymes (HO-1, NQO1, GCLC). It also shows antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity. The water-soluble distillate is mild and suitable for sensitive skin. Sulforaphane at cosmetic concentrations is non-cytotoxic and non-irritating.
