About
A long-chain alkyl conditioning agent derived from natural fatty acids that provides excellent hair softening and anti-static properties.
This ingredient features a C18-22 long-chain isoalkyl group attached to an amidopropyl ethyldimonium ethosulfate structure. The very long alkyl chain provides high substantivity to hair, making it especially effective for dry, damaged, or coarse hair types. It is not listed in EU Annex II or III of the Cosmetics Regulation and is permitted for cosmetic use. The ethosulfate counterion is considered mild.
